Quality Control
Kiln Dried or Air Dried? At KSM we offer both methods of drying. In each process the goal is to obtain moisture content of less than 20% so that twisting and shrinking is minimized. Less moisture also means less weight, so your logs are lighter and easier to handle. In our almost 30 years in the log home business, KSM has never had an insect problem. This has been achieved by careful buying, selection and grading of our lumber.
